FraudScans needed a searchable fraud database experience that worked both as a dashboard product and as an embeddable API.

Fraud risk shows up before revenue does. Businesses were onboarding customers, vendors, employees, merchants, and partners without a fast way to search fraud intelligence first. Manual checks do not scale, and scattered databases do not help an operations team make a decision in the moment. FraudScans needed to become the screening layer companies use before trust is granted.

The product challenge was dual access. Some teams needed a clean web dashboard for identity searches, fraud categories, history, and reporting. Others needed enterprise API access so fraud screening could sit inside their own onboarding and review systems. Subscription plans, search infrastructure, and admin controls had to support both without making either experience feel incomplete.

We framed FraudScans around the decision point: search, review risk, record history, and act. Discovery covered fraud categories, screening workflows, consumer versus enterprise access, reporting needs, and how API consumers would authenticate and consume results. That kept the product focused on fraud intelligence that changes onboarding outcomes, not generic search UI.

We built the complete platform on Next.js, Node.js, and MongoDB with global fraud database search, risk screening, subscription plans, user dashboards, REST APIs, enterprise API access, search history, reporting, and admin tooling. FraudScans now lets teams screen people and businesses before onboarding decisions are finalized, whether they work from the dashboard or integrate directly through APIs.
